  7. Minutes of the Internet Anonymous FTP Archives (IAFA)

  10.    o IAFA meeting Agenda approved
  11.    o Charter was discussed and a sentence of the following type was
  12.      suggested and approved for addition to the charter:
  13.      ``This Working Group will also look into the FTP Protocol
  14.      functionality (though not the protocol itself) as it concerns
  15.      anonymous FTP to see if changes can be recommended and forwarded to
  16.      the appropriate Working Group or Area Director''
  17.    o The ``User's Guide To Anonymous FTP'' document was discussed.  It
  18.      was decided that many such documents already exist and that writing
  19.      a new one from scratch would be redundant.  John Curran
  20.      (jcurran@nnsc.nsf.net), Ellen Hoffman (esh@merit.edu) and April
  21.      Marine (april@nisc.sri.com) volunteered to draw together the
  22.      current documents and provide a draft User's guide to be
  23.      distributed on the IAFA mailing list before the next IETF meeting.

  25.    o The ``Anonymous FTP Site Administrators Guide'' was discussed as a
  26.      useful document for the recommended operating procedures for an
  27.      anonymous ftp site.  Alan Emtage volunteered to write a draft to be
  28.      distributed on the IAFA mailing list before the next IETF meeting.
